#3 Support for 16bpp bitmaps in bmp2png?

One common need for bitmap converters is batch converting large
numbers of Windows screenshots, which are typically saved in 16-
or 32-bit per pixel .BMP files. It would then be extremely handy to
have a batch-usable tool like yours convert these relatively large
(~2.5MB for a 1280x1024 screen) files into relatively smaller (~3:1
for my application), and lossless format.
