If asked about the intention, I would say yes. As for the
prospect, I'm not sure because we don't have a Samsung
player. It's up to the commitment from Samsung users to this
project.

I own a Samsung YH-J70... and find the Samsung Media Studio
software somehow annoying.
What can I do to support your development in this direction
? Shall I send you the files, where the player stores his
library-information ? (When yes -> to where ?)
Sorry for my bad English,

I will give a try. If the database format is very similar to
the one supported by PMPlib, it is likely to be supported.
If not, it is unlikely to be supported unless someone with
the player and enthusiasm analyzes the format.

I checked the database files to see if there's a resemblance
to the formats supported by the existing implementation.
Unfortunately, the database format is something I've never
seen before.
Since analyzing an unknown database format is a quite tough
(difficult and time-consuming) task, I'm afraid I can't
implement a database writer/reader for this model. This is
not to say that PMPlib project will not support YH-J70 in
the future. If someone who is interested and enthusiastic in
cracking the database format sends a patch to this project,
we are happy to include it.
Best wishes,
Nyaochi

Please send the content of system folder (I don't know the
location though) to the email address shown here:
