#346 Provide a Unit to error measures like RMSE, MSE etc
Due to the fact that formulas used for fitting can be based on different log transformations (ln vs. log10) the calculated error measures for different models can not be compared directly. In addition the user can display a fitted model together with the data as e.g. log10(CFU/g) and the value for the RMSE is still in the ln(CFU/g) unit, which is misleading. So if one wants to compare two models where one has been generated on ln vs. and the other on a log10-unit equation data these error measures can not be compared, as they are linked to the transformation used in the equation.
The only solution I see is, that we also assign a unit based on the unit of "Value" parameter to each error measure, which is actually highly recommended by other experts, too.
