The XLS Data Reader accepts mean values with SD, but only uses the mean values. SD is not taken into account, e.g. for calculation of a confidence interval or simply to display mean +/- standard error bars.

Currently the XLS Data Reader does not even accept SD values, it was removed for the last build.
