Bill implemented the feature that will allow mp3 audio in addition to =

audio in the news db. The feature recognizes the MIME type of the media =

and creates and posts the appropriate metafile. I will put the new =

on SourceForge within the next few days. There will also be an extensive
revision of the comcal events db bundled with it.

I thought there was already an html version of the users manual posted =
at
SourceForge in addition to the document bundled with the cms. Did you =
post
the html version to SourceForge, or is intended to replace the download
documents?

I don't have a good feel for the prevalence of SLL availability. Any
self-hosted station doing e-commerce and online pledging would, but many
stations use ASPs outside their hosting environment for fundraising.
Stations that are university licensees would likely have it, if the =
dungeon
masters in the IT department will permit them access. Most commercial =
ISPs
give access to SLL, so commercially-hosted stations should be OK. How =
many
fall into what group, I can't say. I'll ask around.

Let me know how the newscast upload hack goes--we still can't use v1's
uploader for files larger than 2 mb.
