You could OGRs virtual table[0] for the joining.

I have done this successfully with attribute-data from a mysql.table joined=
 to=20
a shapefile dynamically.

But I am not sure if this also works with Oracle. I assume you need to comp=
ile=20
OGR with oracle-support, but I am not entirely sure.
