AMDEP does appear in my _generated_ aclocal.m4 (presumably because of the version of autotools I am using). But it shouldn't appear in your generate= d aclocal.m4 unless your autotools support it properly. That is why I think you may have some inconsistency or change in your autotools and a fresh checkout is probably necessary. Alan __________________________ Alan W.
