(I may not have commented, here, but you should subscribe to plplot_cvs to get the check-in messages where I did comment.) With clean checkout of current CVS do you still have the same problem? If so, perhaps the make depend trick I used to generate the objs.in in the current CVS is covering up some fundamental problem on my machine but not yours, that we should fix. I will answer your other questions/comments, later, after I have tried your patch. (BTW, the future of sourceforge is a little iffy so conceivably the patches you post using the SF patch facility will be lost in the future. As a backup to the SF plplot_devel mail archives (for the same reason of an iffy SF future) I am saving most plplot_devel, plplot_general, and plplot_cvs posts. So if you simply attach your patch to your plplot_devel post, there is a good chance it will be saved even if SF folds. Alan |
