#9 multiple plinit/plend, memory leak

i called plinit()/plend() multiple times from different program points
and got some problems with options and memory leaks.

It
seems that plend does not free all all the allocated memory, I could
track some leaks to opt_drvopt and plInitDispatchTable, and that
the static variables are not reset properly.

Is there some
way to fix this?

    Hi,

I experienced the same problem on my system too (plplot 5.8.0). Every call to plinit creates a memory leak of about 1KB. This make plplot absolutely unusable for me. I hope you will find a solution, I'm sure other people will run into the same problem but may perhaps not recognize it.

    regards.
    Patrick

Unless anyone can show this still occurs I am closing this.

Significant work has been done in this area using valgrind and all examples will now run without memory leaks, including using multiple streams and replot.
