For -dev xcairo, when you close the window by alt+F4 or other equivalents, the following fatal error message is the result:

XIO: fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server

This fatal error can be disruptive to certain environments (e.g., lisp) and should be replaced by a smooth exit from PLplot. as occurs under these same circumstances for -dev qtwidget and -dev wxwidgets.

This has been fixed for the xcairo driver following what was done for the xwin driver. Briefly, the window close events are now handled rather than being ignored.

This has been fixed following what was done for the xwin driver. Window close events are now captured and handled.
