#2 Output values in scientific notation

In order to prevent the loss of significant digits when
digitizing axis scales that span more than a couple of
orders of magnitude, it would be a good idea to output
the results in scientific notation rather than the
current x.5 notation.

    The output CSV file now always writes out it's values in scientific notation
    with 5 places to the right of the decimal point.
    The tabular window view of the data will use the same scientific notation
    if any number has a magnitude less than 0.001.

    Included in release 2.3.0.

    This feature is currently broken again in the latest version (2.6.2). As far as I can tell, the last working version is 2.5.2 .
