I agree. I've done that in a few places here and there (how to move the logo, for one, and one about an error I received when modifying viewlets that has a particularly obscure error message). Ideally, the editors should roll these comments into the docs themselves, where appropriate. I know that has certainly been my intention, I just haven't had the time.
