A question for you:
I need to attach a MSWord docuemnt in a Plomino form.
Is it possible to enable keyword searching within the content of it?
I'm using Plone 4.0.7 with Plomino 1.11 under Windows.
Plomino uses the Plone file indexing features to index files.
So you need to enable MsWord indexing in your Plone.
To do that you need some local binaries (as explained here : http://plone.org/documentation/kb/enable-full-text-indexing-of-word-documents-and-pdfs-in-plone-3-0-gnu-linux and here http://plone.org/documentation/products/arofficetransforms ), and I am not sure those binaries are available on Windows.
I'll try on my Ubuntu environment.
One more question.
Searching in a attached doc works but the question is:
why do I have two results for a search?
Try to explain it better: Plone shows the same plomino document two times, one as [my plomino database name]/plomino_document/[my document name] and one as [my plomino database name]/[my document name].
I also set up in the search-controlpanel only the option "Plomino document" as type to be shown.
Is there a possibility to index only th eplomino documents?
refresh your db, it should clean that
but you succeed in identifying how you had this problem, I would be interested
