Hi. I was wondering whether the sf project https://sourceforge.net/projects/pldoc/ could be used to generate API documentation. The project uses javadoc notation to document pl/sql. Last time I tried it, it basically only did package headers, but I guess the grammar would be similar. I just thought this kind of documentation would be a nice addition to this project.
Thanks for making it :)
Thank you for the suggestion.
PLDoc looks quite interesting - perhaps it could generate part of a project web page, instead of this crappy default one: http://pljson.sourceforge.net/
In April 2011, PLDoc could not parse object types (there was a fork which could), and was not very good at parsing PL/SQL body code.
Since PLDoc release 0.9.1, PLDoc can parse Oracle object types and is now pretty good at parsing standalone functions and procedures (I did some hacking so that it would work for me).
~/Development/pldoc/pldoc.sh -d /tmp/pljson-pldoc -doctitle "'PLJSON Demo'" json_*
The PLDoc site is just generated using the standard Maven site command with some documents
