#3 Application dies on note input

The following will make the application die (freestanding, OSX 10.5.8):
1. In a note, enter a sign that wait for another sign to get completed, e.g. an accent such as `. This puts down a small _ signalling the wait for a letter, or space for the accent only.
2. Leave the note (e.g. click on another note) while the editor is waiting for the "rest of the sign". Pliny dies.
