There is a modified version of tux_example that uses the
MDL loader here:
http://www.mdstud.chalmers.se/~md6pl/LoadTest.cxx
Put the model and its textures in the working directory and
give the model name as an argument on the command line. You
can use the keys G, F and ' to toggle gear, flaps and
spoilers on and off.
It would be interesting to see your flight simulator! Is
there a homepage?
