Hi,
Why don't you use templates for your sg math functions for floats and
doubles. It would make maintaining them easier. I noticed this
discussion has occurred previously in the archives, but I don't know
what ever became of it.
Later.

Portability onto some of the more obscure platforms we support has
proven tricky where templates are present.
SG changes only very rarely - so maintaining two copies of everything
is very little effort.
