[Plib-devel] Request for Make Local on *nix

Gentlemen,

	Is there a way to build the PLIB libraries and install them in a
local directory on a Linux box?  This would be useful for people who don't
have root access, or who want to build a local experimental version of PLIB
and don't want to install it in the root library directory.

Doesn't

 	./configure --prefix=$HOME/plib-bin

do what you want to do? I build all of my stuff that way.

Just do a 'make' and don't to the 'install'.
