Gentlemen,
After about a week away from work, I am now back on-line and
working. At the moment I'm digging through 100 e-mails that piled up (only
that few! I am amazed).

Fort Walton Beach is beginning to return to some form of normalcy,
although I did drive over one downed power line on my way in this morning.
(I presume that it had been deactivated and simply had not been picked up
yet.) West of here, though, is devastated. I was in Navarre on Monday
handing out supplies and the place looks like ... well, like a hurricane hit
it. I was aghast. Pictures can show you what it looks like, but they
cannot at all convey the full sense of what has happened. I can only
speculate about what it is like in Pensacola.
