PLIB needs a better logo - the present one (the word PLIB against the standard GIMP starburst pattern) was done in an extreme hurry and with zero public contribution - and it needs replaceing. So: Email your entries to me <sjb...@ai...> and I'll put them up on a web page somewhere and we'll hold a vote on plib-devel one month from today (July 10th). All entries must be releasable without nasty copyright restrictions. In my opinion, it would be nice to have a logo that works in 3D and which could be built into the SSGAux library as a standard feature. As such it could animate too - but we wouldn't want it to take up *too* much space. It also has to look good at moderate resolution on our web page - and as a teeny-tiny button for people to use as a link on their PLIB-based games. No limit on number of entries per person - but please don't flood me with nearly identical versions of the same thing. I'll think of a suitable prize later on. ----------------------------- Steve Baker ------------------------------- Mail : <sjb...@ai...> WorkMail: <sj...@li...> URLs : http://www.sjbaker.org http://plib.sf.net http://tuxaqfh.sf.net http://tuxkart.sf.net http://prettypoly.sf.net http://freeglut.sf.net http://toobular.sf.net http://lodestone.sf.net |
