How long is the delay between the displays?
If the rate is 30 Hz, would a subframe delay be visible?
Perhaps you could use video camera or digital camera to shoot
all three displays simultaneously and verify what happens.

Could the graphics cards synced via a direct wire between
the cards? What Nvidia and ATI says about multiple displays?
