You will be glad you did, even though you may not want a jet engine roaring at the same time as your mp3's, it allows you to have multiple apps running at the same time and gives you control over when and how to start, stop, or silence your individual apps, rather than being forced to close out every other audio app in order to play a hand of solitaire or shoot an approach in a simulator or blow up a couple bad guys between letting the dogs in our out.
