The old VRML loader didn't really work too well - the new one (which seems
pretty good in most cases) hasn't made it into a stable version of PLIB yet.

Having said that, the present PLIB 1.5 release seems every bit as reliable as
the latest 1.4 series release - so I'd grab that.
