Two or three people have asked about that already, but noone seemed to be inclined to do the work. Like Per, I believe that building on top of the MDL loader is best. I *think* the difference between .MDL planes and scenery is fairly small, especially if you only want to get the geometry in a first step and not all the additional information like frequencies etc. If we have one module that reads BGL commands, then maintaining it is easier.
