I apologise for not replying directly, but my wonderful hosting company deleted my mail spool. :) Firstly, cell shading (probably the wrong term really, but the one most people seem to use) is 3D shading that looks like a comic book 2D image. Like Jet Set Radio (a fantastic Japanese Dreamcast game)... it may be used in a few other titles but that's probably the best example. I've had a look at the ssg code and I've decided it's easier just to rip the code out of the ssgLoad routines and the drawing stuff and hack it into something half approximatinbg a working program. I'm not sure if any of the code I'm writing would be any use in plib (it's pretty specialized), but when I have something working I'll post a link. |
