Melchior,

	No defense is necessary, you are not under attack.  In fact, you
have my thanks for using the library and taking the trouble to fix the
bugs.

	I've put the changes in as two separate commits--one for the
blank lines and indentation and the other with the actual changes.
Please make sure I've done it correctly.

To my defense: I have, of course, tested the previous patch, and it
worked for hours ... then I suddenly got a SIGFPE.
Take the attached version -- it also fixes some bad indentation and
removes trailing spaces.

"Allow slider fractions of 1.0 -- don't force them to 0.9."
