[Plib-devel] 1.8.5rc1 ... 1.8.5

I'm aware that asking for a release is slightly less work than
doing the release, but I'd like to ask anyway: plib is now tagged
as "release candidate 1" for four months. I doubt it will get
any stabler. Could the masters of plib please consider a release?

I'd like to throw out some code in FlightGear that was necessary
for the last stable plib release, and which will be fixed in 1.8.5.
At the moment we couldn't even make 1.8.5rc1 a requirement and
check for it in "configure.ac", as it still identifies itself
as 1.8.4 (src/util/ul.h).
