I've been busy with the latest release of FlightGear, but here is an 
updated patch.

It would be nice if the proposed patches get included in plib a some 
point since most of the binary releases of FlightGear are now build 
using a patched version of the latest CVS version of plib.

BTW. This patch isn't really necessary for FlightGear anymore, but it 
might be helpful for other projects as well.
