I kinda doubt there is anything we can do about that.

If you are getting a direct rendering context some of the time - then our
code is clearly requesting a direct rendering context if one is available.

When we don't get one, then something in the GLX stuff is saying that we
can't have one.  Dunno why that would be - but it's a driver issue.

Do things run more slowly in dual-head mode?
