That's what the 'FNT/PUI' libraries are for.  It would be redundant to have
fonts in PW as well.  PW is designed to operate as a part of PLIB - not as
a GLUT replacement!

Yes.  PLIB is really only intended to support interactive applications
and those are invariably double-buffered on modern hardware.
