Hi Steve and thanks for your help. I posted the model - you can find it in members.xoom.virgilio.it/Devas, = the file is "closedcube.ac" - it's just a test so it's ugly. I have exported it from blender using a script made by a guy who used it = to contribute some models for Tuxkart so it should work fine. I specified the object to be doublesided and I switched the normals = toward the inside of the cube for correct shading. If I go backward I can see the surfaces draw correctly when I get far = enough (it's the inverse of the far clipping plane problem, it can't be = the near because it's set to 0.01). I decided to post a binary win32 test.zip if you want to see it in real = time (400Kb) so maybe you will be able to understand quickly what's my = mistake. Use the arrow keys to accelerate/brake and turn around... collision = detection with the cube walls is a bit buggy so you can smash outside = going backward and see the cube being drawn correctly only when it's = distant. It seems that objects are drawn correctly only in great distance... Cheers, Filippo |
