#26 Sound rarely hangs with "WARNING: SlDSP:..."

Hi all

I'm a developer of torcs, www.torcs.org, and occasionly
I got reports form Windows 2000 and XP users (during
the last 2 years around 10 reports):

WARNING: SlDSP: Cannot perform this operation while
media data is still playing.
Reset the device, or wait until the data is finished
playing. (33)

I recommended the people to update their sound drivers,
and for some that seems to help, but for some it does
not, so there seems to be a problem. I report that here
because I was never able to reproduce it myself, is
somebody investigating that or is even a patch/fix
availabe?

This ranges from plib 1.6.0 till 1.8.3 (I did not try
1.8.4). If you want to try a user reported the problem
with the current TORCS version (torcs 1.2.3, plib
1.8.3), of course it works perfect on my own systems...

Sorry for the sparse information, but I had never the
opportunity to investigate that myself.
