Hi folks: It gives me great pleasure to announce that the Robotics Data Set Repository (Radish) is now officially on-line: http://radish.sourceforge.net/ This is an initiative started by myself (USC) and Nick Roy (CMU) to improve collaboration betweeen robotics researchers. To this end, the Robotics Data Set Repository provides a collection of standard robotics data sets. It includes: * Logs of odometry, laser and sonar data taken from real robots. * Logs of all sorts of sensor data taken from simulated robots. * Environment maps generated by robots. * Environment maps generated by hand (i.e., re-touched floor-plans). By making these data sets available to the community, we aim to facilitate improved evaluation and comparison of robotics algorithms. Researchers are invited to download and make use of the data sets, and, in return, to make their own contributions to the repository. The site is new, so please let me know of any bugs and/or possible improvements. Cheers, Andrew Howard Andrew Howard email: ah...@po...
