There's a little bug in Player 1.3 that may cause you trouble when building C
or C++ client programs. Specifically, <player.h>, when installed, does not
include some system headers that are necessary to define certain ISO types that
are used in <player.h>. The symptom is that the compiler complains at great
length about things like "uint8_t" being undefined.
Fortunately, there's an easy workaround: before including <player.h> (or
including a file that includes it, such as <playerclient.h>), you should
include <stdint.h> (or <sys/types.h> on BSD-like systems, including Solaris).
I've already got a fix in CVS, and i'll make a bugfix release soon.
