Has anyone out there strived to retrieve the odometry speed from the Create
iRobot? I tried the methods GetXSpeed(), GetYSpeed() and GetYawSpeed() but
they always retrieve 0. I can get the estimated pose using
GetXPos(),GetYPos() and GetYawPos() , but I couldn't get the right speed
from it just getting the difference between successive positions and
dividing by the time (using the difference between successive times with
gettimeofday() ). If has anyone ever made this, maybe changing the driver
code, or whatever, please let me know, I need the odometry speed to use with
a KalmanFilter .
