Hi, I am trying to run amcl using sonar. After I download the sources code released last year and build it up, I cannot run it successfully. I trace the error and I find that it might be relating to data type define. Dose anyone successfully run amcl using sonar, especially under Player 2.0.3? Simon |

We might be able to help if you post the error(s) that you see at compilation and/or runtime. brian. |

Hi, I need absolutely to use sonar for localization.I'm pretty confused about that. If I'm not wrong the latest player release supporting sonar amcl was player 1.6.5.Is it right? However I doesn't work reliably, at least not for me, even if in an indoor environment with a lot of features. Somebody told me that sonar amcl works with player 1.4rc1, but not with player 1.4rc2. I don't know what to think? Please can you explain me what the state of sonar localization. Is it worthwhile to downgrade to player 1.4rc1 to make sonar amcl working, or is it useless? If this the case, case where I can find some configuration file for pioneer2dx? What's the latest stage version working with player 1.4rc1?
