I have a Stage model of a robot with ranger sensors, it's something like
define robot_rangers ranger
define robot position
But when I define the robot's driver in the .cfg file provides
["6665:ranger:0"] doesn't work. It does work if I use the sonar
interface instead though.
I'm using Stage version 2.0.4 at the moment. My question is, does this
still happen with stage 3 or is the ranger interface supported by the
newer Stage driver?
I'm not sure if Stage 3 supports the new ranger interface or not (I
suspect it doesn't), but you can transform an IR, sonar or laser
interface device into a ranger device using the lasertoranger, etc
drivers available in Player.
