Ive been using stage for some very simplistic block identification code
which has highlighted an oddity in the stage laser model. When the laser
needs to be interpolated to get the 'full resolution' it returns
readings that are effectively reflections from empty space.
This amoung other things is messing up my discontinuity detecting code
as there are man small discontinuities instead of one large one...
Of course if you just turn off the interpolation then the data quality
is poor when there isn't a discontinuity...so Im not sure what the
answer is to this, is there a reason we cant scan at the full resolution
of the laser, or simply return laser results at the resolution they are
being measured in stage?
