Player includes the 'garminnmea' driver which was written to control
Garmin GPS receivers. It may also control other, non-Garmin GPS
receivers that use the NMEA protocol. There's also the dgps_server
utility, which receives DGPS corrections from a base station and
multicasts them via UDP, where the garminnmea driver can pick them up.
This utility is not currently distributed, but you can find it in
player/utils/dgps_server in CVS.

No, it won't work with the AUX port. You should get some USB->serial
converters and possibly a USB hub. Then you have an effectively
unlimited number of serial ports.
