As one Playerstage developer gave me green light to commit the Ruby
bindings for Playerstage I have rushed to commit them.
They live in the logical place (client_libs/libplayerc/bindings/ruby)
but they are not built by default
To make them compile and install the
client_libs/libplayerc/bindings/CMakeLists.txt file should be modified
adding a line:
The compilation process will give lots of warnings because of the
renaming of classes to uppercase. Is scary but working.
They are working OK so far in the test I have made here in the C to
Ruby direction (read from player) and in the Ruby to C direction for
some types (much test is needed but surely most of the types just
works, thanks Python bindings developers!)
Some examples live in the ruby/examples directory.
Feel free to comment on them in this mailing list or submit
patches/bugs. I will take care of them.
