I dont use the VCC cameras myself, and did not author the patch so I cant comment on specific details, have a look at the patch page on source forge or the source code, or just try it out. The Canon serial interface supports velocity control. The existing vcc4 driver does not seem to at all. I found a greatly improved vcc4 control C++ class (faster and more complete) from another open source project, which I then used to write my own vcc4 plugin driver. However I did not implement the velocity control commands. Yet. Though it should be easy. I will email my source package separately, and also to anyone else who requests it - keep meaning to post online somewhere and link to the Wiki, but haven't yet. I have looked over the code and hopefully it will not be too much work to port it to a generic actarray interface. -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/Driver-for-robotic-arm--tf3832128.html#a11073637 Sent from the playerstage-developers mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
