Toby, I've been working on a USB driver for the Segway RMP (generation II, with the USB port). It's almost done; I just need to squeeze in a couple days of testing early next week. I think this would be great to add to the 2.1 release if you can wait for it; it will let users control their RMPs using only the supplied USB cable and the driver downloaded from the FTDI website, without having to purchase a CANbus interface. I'll need a little help with the modifications to the acinclude.m4 file, though, so that it does the right thing depending on whether someone wants to use a CAN interface or the USB interface. None of my additions change any of the Player interfaces.
