Thank you for your help! I set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to /usr/local/bin, where the stage libs locate. Then I run: [qpang@c-did10 ~]$ echo $LD_LIBRARY_PATH /usr/local/lib: [qpang@c-did10 ~]$ cd /usr/local/share/stage/worlds [qpang@c-did10 worlds]$ player -d9 test.cfg and get the following: trying to load /usr/local/share/stage/worlds/./libstageplugin... failed (/usr/local/share/stage/worlds/./libstageplugin.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory) trying to load /usr/local/lib/libstageplugin... success invoking player_driver_init()...
