I wrote a plugin driver that provides a map using sonar data.
the goal of this driver is to combine it with the amazing wavefront and amcl
capabilities to provide a slam configuration.
it's way too simple to do slam right now, but may be useful now that i've got
basic functionality to work.
donwload it at:
the tar.bz2 file has two config files ready to try the driver, and
some documentation made with doxygen.
I would like to know how playerstage users are going on with slam research,
are there other projects like mine around? i'm writing my master thesis about
slam. I used sonars instead of laser because in my lab we don't have laser
