I am new at using Player/Stage. I am trying to interface a force feedback joystick to control the movement of the robot in stage. In playerjoy, the default code uses the joystick, and in the absense of the joystick, it uses the keyboard input to control the robot movement in the environment. However, even though I have the joystick connected, and calibrated, player/stage is unable to detect it.
Could someone please advice me as to how I could achieve my objective?
