Hello all,

I noticed that in the libplayc directory there is a file called COPYING.LIB which is the LGPL license, however the headers in those files appear to be GPL. It'd be nice to clear this up before the 2.1.0 release.

I'm want to put PlayerMex (Matlab wrapper for libplayerc) under the same license as libplayerc, however it's not clear which license that is.

I hereby grant permission for all of my contributions to the Player

Note that this does not include any part of the Stage package, nor
any of <player source>/utils .

I want to point out that the LGPL allows anyone to re-license the
library or any component as GPL at any time. So you can use any part
of the Player code in your GPL code without inheriting the LGPL - but
*make sure you explicitly change the license before you distribute*.

I also want to encourage people to use the LGPL sparingly, if at all.
Read this to see why:

In particular I wish to see the Player driver collection stay GPL.
Our driver library is a key community resource.

Richard Vaughan.
