Here are the basic steps to building Player or Stage from CVS:

$ cvs co player (or similar anonymous co command)
$ cd player
$ autoreconf -fi
$ ./configure
(pause to read the output summary for anything unexpected)
$ make
$ make install (or sudo make install)

What output does the server give at this stage? and what versions of player
are you running, I assume you are running under cygwin or similar since you
are running a .exe.

Im guessing its either a momentary outage for sourceforge (that command
worked for me moments ago), or a firewall somewhere blocking your traffic.

it sounds like its not finding automake or one of its related packages, or
they are not the correct version. What version of automake and aclocal do
you have installed?

Hello,

I am trying to use gazebo and player_2.0. But I don't find any information
about the way to use gazebo as a plugin for player.
I used to work with gazebo and player_1.6.4 and it was different.

Thanks for your help.
