Archit,
Stage 4.1.1 is the most current, Stage 3.2.2 is stable too.  You'll have the most luck compiling these.

Not quite pushing - but there is a GripperProxy in player-3.0.2, with stage-4.1.1  - I provide an example in the tutorial - found at https://github.com/jennyhasahat/Player-Stage-Manual/  (p50, section 5.3.4).

In bigbob11.cc, the robot moves forward to the box, closes the gripper (which ties the two models together), and reverses, dragging the box with it.

Hi, need some help with box pushing in stage 3. First of all, is it possible to push objects in Stage 3, or should I switch to Stage 2? If it is possible in Stage 3, then could somebody please send me a short and simple code(in python, with world file and cfg file included) demonstrating the way it can be achieved. If not, I am facing trouble installing Stage 2, and am repeatedly receiving some Error 1 - All Recursive or something like that... Please could you give me some tip as to how to rectify this error. Thanks for the help in advance.
