Both 2.0 and 2.1 support plugin drivers. You dont need to put them in the player tree to build them, you can place them anywhere in your file system.

Thanks.
Then when I will finish my driver, have I put my directory driver in
/player-2.x.x/server/drivers/mixed then configure and make install?

I think I'm going tu use player 2.0.5 because i have problems with
player-2.1.x
( http://www.nabble.com/compile-with-player-2.1.X-td22666589.html ) does it
matter?
