I dont use the VCC cameras myself, and did not author the patch so I cant comment on specific details, have a look at the patch page on source forge or the source code, or just try it out.

Is there a velocity control for  canon Vcc4/5 ?

Hi,
I have manually merged patch
[ 1358609 ] sonyevid30: d70 support and velocity control

There had been some to the source tree, so can someone who uses this
driver please check that CVS still works for them, if not we can either
roll back the patch (rev 1.26 on sonyevid30.cc) or resolve the issues,

Thanks,
Toby
